Another of those days

Some of you have never had their hearts broken, but many others know how it feels. You have all had your hearts broken, and you have broken other people's hearts, because, it is evident, everyone must have had at least one lover, secret lover at the least, but they would never really show their affection to you because of fear, or because you incidentally (for him/her) were already in love with someone else, and that left the 3rd person lonely, sad, broken-hearted. Yes, you may have perhaps broken other people's hearts, it is most likely you have done so, even though you never even realized.

Some people say this day is to celebrate between couples only, and I find this reasoning to be true. Others say that this day is to celebrate not only the love you have with a certain special someone, but also the love you share with family, friends and such. Although this second statement is rather true to some extent, notice that today is called "Valentine's Day"; search anywhere you want, you will get the same description: The day is associated with romantic love.
The love you share with family and friends (and mates, even) is, in my opinion, something to thank for every single day. This day, the 14th, I think it was created centuries ago and it had a more special meaning, it is focused on romantic love. Nowadays it's mostly commercial, so I have heard.
And when I see all those couples, all that love, the greeting cards, the chocolates, the angels, the kisses, and yadda yadda... it reminds of someone who has been through many problems in their life when it comes to love. They have failed some and they have been betrayed by others, so they will just stay put and do not even attempt to search for love again.

*Sighs*

I am happy for those who have found their better half, and I wish for you to be happy, and for your love to prosper for many many years. Why, I am almost wishing you get to love each other enough to have a family, why not? Maybe live together, form a future, a happy future. I wish you will stay as it is right now, together, satiated with each other's company. It is as it should be, yes? It feels good and it fills your empty heart with sweet sensations and, even though there is the eventual bitter feeling, it always gets better in the end, always. Live life well and fully with your better half, and waste nothing~ :3
