Ysylven

"A true Ysylven. None understands, none ever will, for the very nature of this relationship is borderline stupid to many, but not for a nature dragon, whose life depends on life, balance and tranquility. So what is Ysylven?. A blood bond of balance. A blood bond seems pretty logic, but why balance? A nature dragon is compelled by fate to watch over others and keep them in joy to sustain their own mental, emotional and power balance as well. It is essential for nature dragons to seek company in order for their Vigor to give them the endurance they need for example, to avoid being tainted by the Plague.
A Ysylven is a blood bound relationship between a Nature Dragon and another dragon of the same gender but of different element, no matter which. Despite the romantic appearance of this role to us humans, nature dragons consider it a type of guardianship. A Ysylven's duty may also entail pacifying one's partner, like Ysulyan does for Zellgrö and vice-versa. Ysylven may translate to our human concept of "love for siblings", which contains no intent for reproduction, deep romance, or anything in between."
